Dr Dominique BERTRAND is a senior researcher in the Unité de recherche “Biopolymères, Interactions, Assemblages” (group Bioinformatics) depending on Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA), in Nantes (France).
He is a specialist of vibrational spectroscopy (mainly Near and Mid Infrared) and of chemometrics of spectra and digitized images. He is currently working on the chemometrics of multivariate/hyperspectral images.
He has developed a comprehensive environment, freely available, for chemometrics, working with Matlab®, called “SAISIR” (Statistics applied to the interpretation of infrared spectra).
Dr Dominique Bertrand
Dr Christophe CORDELLA is an INRA Chemical Research Engineer and member of the Laboratoire de Chimie Analytique at AgroParisTech in Paris, France.
He has worked for several years on the developments of analytical methods for food characterisation and frauds detection by means of several techniques (HPAEC-PAD, HS-GC-MS, e-noses, DSC, MEB...).
Now, he is working in the Pr Rutledge's team and participates to the development effort of chemometric tools.
He has undertaken a project to enhance the software with Dominique Bertrand, to promote and distribute the package in the SAISIR community of Chemometricians.
