Professor Douglas N. RUTLEDGE is head of the Laboratoire de Chimie Analytique at AgroParisTech in Paris, France and Director of a combined Institut National de la Research Agronomique / AgroParisTech research unit on Analytical Engineering for Food Quality.
He has been working for several years, on the development of chemometric tools (PoLiSh, PLS_Cluster, Outer Product Analysis, optimal model dimensionality based on Durbin-Watson criterion, Principal Components Transform…) for the analysis of instrumental data (Time Domain NMR, Infrared, Chromatography ..).

Dr Christophe CORDELLA is an INRA Chemical Research Engineer and member of the Laboratoire de Chimie Analytique at AgroParisTech in Paris, France.
He has worked for several years on the developments of analytical methods for food characterisation and frauds detection by means of several techniques (HPAEC-PAD, HS-GC-MS, e-noses, DSC, MEB...).
Now, he is working in the Pr Rutledge's team and participates to the development effort of chemometric tools.
Dr Dominique Bertrand
Dr Dominique BERTRAND is a senior researcher in the Unité de recherche “Biopolymères, Interactions, Assemblages” (group Bioinformatics) depending on Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA), in Nantes (France).
He is a specialist of vibrational spectroscopy (mainly Near and Mid Infrared) and of chemometrics of spectra and digitized images. He is currently working on the chemometrics of multivariate/hyperspectral images.
He has developed a comprehensive environment, freely available, for chemometrics, working with Matlab®, called “SAISIR” (Statistics applied to the interpretation of infrared spectra).
